Responsibilities
8-10 years of experience in manual and functional testing, specifically within the P&C insurance domain.
Expertise in Agile methodologies, with hands-on experience working within Agile teams.
Strong knowledge of P&C insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, billing, and underwriting workflows.
Proven ability to lead and mentor a QA team, promoting a collaborative, quality-focused environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Working know-how/experience in Property & Casualty insurance value chain with exposure in one or more areas (underwriting, operations, actuaries) including forms, rating, transactional workflow etc.
Past experience in US P&C insurance domain with AICPCU certification is good to have
Requirements
- Lead and oversee manual and functional testing efforts for complex applications within the P&C insurance domain, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Develop detailed test strategies, test plans, and test cases to cover all aspects of P&C insurance systems, including policy, claims, underwriting, and billing.
- Act as a QA lead within Agile teams, participating actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Execute end-to-end testing and identify gaps in functional flows, collaborating closely with business analysts and product owners to understand and validate requirements.
- Mentor mid-level and junior QAs, fostering knowledge transfer and ensuring adherence to best practices in the insurance testing space.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders, recommending resolutions and mitigations as needed.
